As mentioned before, those two live in kind of Shangrila. They love to travel, so balloon boat became their house. actually, this idea was inspired form your company's website index. I just arranged flying sailboat to balloon boat. Usually, the boat is berthed in a deep mountain surrounding by huge vines of a secluded world. This picture shows the legendary five on their way to visit sages.

I came out an idea that I can create either company or enemy. One must be boss (male), and another one should be above those five (female). I can use different color scheme to separate these two groups--color for company / gray scale for enemy. Finally, I chose company because it was more challenge to design two more characters. I also switched new two into "sage", which means they only show up when the legendary five need help.

I chose two from rough draft for big sage, and developed both of them. Human figure seemed too normal, so I picked up no.2. This character was combined human and worm, and I tried different proportion to see any new possibility. Then I chose my favorite one and colored it in warm color.

The same process I created oracle. I was inspired from bee, so I made the eyes wider to side of head. Cool color made contrast feeling and implied distinct personality to sage.
